My name is Marta Sznajder and I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Philsophy at the University of Groningen. I am working on my NWO Veni project “In Inductive Logic, There Are No Morals: Carnap’s Philosophy of Scientific Reasoning,” which will run until January 2023.
My PhD, defended in January 2017, was at LMU in Munich and the University of Groningen. I used to work on the theory of conceptual spaces in the context of inductive logic. Currently I continue working on inductive logic, focusing on its pre-Carnap history and intra-Carnap philosophical context.
I am also working on a biography of Janina Hosiasson. If you are interested in what it was like to be a woman in philosophy in 1920s Warsaw, come over to the Janina Project Blog.
